It is Back to School for us today. What can I say about it? It was ...err... totally slack? Lol! Well, this slack-ness will not last long. Tomorrow will be a long and rather packed day for us teachers-to-be, from 9am to 4pm. Yawn...

"After handing in our choice of elective forms, Enx, myself and Juls made our way to the theatre for the standard Start-of-Term treatment; chorus placement and Newbie Orientation. Unfortunately, there was only the placements but no orientation. Everyone had to go through it, except for the Westrn strings players. GTC and JT started off with the 4th years and started on the shortlisting for the Chamber Choir (CC) auditions. During that time, I was reading the epilogue of Char's copy of the last Harry Potter book that was out on Saturday, 21 July. Anyway, it was soon the 3rd years' turn. All of us got on stage where those who wanted to do the CC audition were to go to a side. Us four were being little clowns; a case of wanting to do the audtions yet did not want to. In the end, we did go to the side where JT took note our names and gave us the audition pieces to prepare. We were then allowed to get off the stage and back to our seats where we picked up our bags and went off for our lunch. It was about ten minutes to noon when we were out of the theatre."

I hope I can get into Chamber Choir. Auditions will be held on friday for those 50 shortlisted people, which includes me and the other three girls.

"We four had the longest lunch ever; lingering over our meal with lots of chatter, words not spoken to each other for nearly three whole months. During the one and half hours sitting in the food centre of Sim Lim Square, we often found ourselves talking in pairs, like Juls and I would be talking about something while the other two would be talking about something else. Other than that, besides the usual "lost" one, we had our fun, and while going through it, Juls manage to make a phone call to her usual hair salon in Bugis Junction. At 2:40-ish p.m, we finally managed to get ourselves out into the open and headed to Bugis, where Juls had a 3p.m appointment to keep, I wanted to take a look at the books in Kinokuniya, Char was meeting DW and Enx wanted to go to the National Library. And so, everyone had something to do there."

Yawn... And that was the first day of my third year in this school.

Right. I better turn in soon. First class at 9a.m. I will upload the photos another day. Hopefully, not too many days later. :)
