As everybody on earth who uses the Gregorian calender should know, this week is Week #52, a.k.a the last week of A.D 2005. My heart goes out to all students who will be starting a new semester next week. That includes yours truly.

So, what have I been doing for this week?

Monday, 26 Dec., 2005, Boxing Day: I went to Haw Par Villa with Mother dearest. Father wasn't interested. Didn't been there for don't-know-how-many-donky-years. Went to check out the 10 Gates of Hell. Really gruesome. Don't want to talk about it. *shudders... Stop over in Chinatown for abit of shopping because we didn't want to go home that early. Bought a white T-shirt from Baleno (SGD8.40) to match my batik skirt, and a Detective Conan Special Version #24 China Version (SGD2.80). So cheap!!! Never mind if it was printed in China. It is still just as good. The CNY decorations were lying along the side of the road, waiting to be put up. They will be putting up cute figures of the Zodiac animals for the celebrations. So kawaii!!!

Tuesday, 27 Dec., 2005: The parents and I took the bus to JB. Left the house at about 10am. Took SMRT service #966 all the way to Marsiling MRT before crossing the road to take another bus, #950 to JB. What a long journey. As usual, I fell asleep on the trip from home to Marsiling. Haha! My favourite past time. If you don't believe it, go ahead and ask any of my friends or classmates. Hahaha! Anyway, we walked around the City Square during the 6 hours we were there. Mother and I did a lot of window shopping in that huge new shopping complex near the Checkpoint while Daddy spent most of his time sitting outside, smoking his pipe. Typical. Mother gave me RM50 to spend and I bought (I said this before) a pair of white "school" canvas shoes from Bata (RM29.90), a Fruits Basket #18 TongLi Edition manga (RM4.50) and a Korean VCD: 100 Days With Mr. Arrogant from Popular's CD-Rama (RM13.90). So, how much did I spend? Let's calculate it together: 29.90+4.50+13.90=48.30 So, I left: 50.00-48.30=1.70 o.O Wanted to watch a film, particularly Narnia but when I got to the floor where the cinema is located, it was packed. Totally packed. Queues of people, especially teenagers, were formed. Not only that, the next show-time was at 5.15pm but it was sold out. The next one would be at 9pm, which is like, many hours later. Siao! Which Singaporean, in his/her right mind, would want to stay until that late just to watch a film even though the ticket was cheap (RM6 because Tuesdays are Movie Days)? So, we went to do some grocery shopping before having dinner. I love the Mee Soto. Yummy! *saliva starts forming in mouth... Nearly couldn't get to the immigration checkpoint because we entered the wrong side of it. Must remember to enter the Entrance, not the Exit. I don't think I am making any sense to you people. Never mind you mind about it. As long as I know what on earth I was saying. So, we got home at about 7.30pm. More than enough time to wash up and eat a little something before sitting down to watch Tiramisu on Channel 5. Gof Akara and Sharon Au!!! They are so cute together!!! Haha!!! I am insane.

Wednesday, 28 Dec., 2005: Did nothing. Actually, I was "lazing" around at home. Got to recharge my batteries, you know. I am not a Super Being. Help Father with my room. You see, it was "snowing" in my room. So, Father had to scrap off some of those loose bits and patched them up. The ceiling is rather patchy-looking right now. Father has to paint it over again.

Thursday, 29 Dec., 2005: Went with Mother to the Keppel area to get her Moulinex chopper fixed. Later went to Tiong Bahru to get my Tertiary Student's E-Z Link card done. I was suppose to get it done months ago but I didn't see the need for it. However, I changed my mind and got it done as I needed a card to show that I am a student, and a tertiaty one at that. Walked around the area. Mother bought 2 pairs of long pants which is meant for winter use.

Friday, 30 Dec., 2005, Today: Mother and I went to Tampines to spend the Metro Gift Vouchers. So, I got a pair of Clarks shoes (SGD88.00) while Mother got a bag (SGD29.90). Spent nearly 6 hours there.

*yawns... I am so tired. Have to wake up early tomorrow so as to prepare for the evening's BBQ. My brother and his family will be back from Hong Kong tomorrow afternoon. I wonder why is it that some people that I know is off to Hong Kong at this time of the year. I want to go too!!! *wahhhhh....!!! I am so childish. :P *blah! Listening to Jay Chou's latest CD right now. I am totally in love with his songs. Haha! I have lost count of how many times I have been listening to it since Boxing Day. I was actually looking for the title of a song that I heard while shopping in Orchard. It was really nice. Asked my friends about it but they didn't know who was the singer. Turns out to be Jay Chou. Yayy!!! Track #1: Ye Qu (translated as "Night Song"). Happy... *smiling like an idiot...

Well, I am off to brush my teeth and then to bed. Night! And wish you an early Happy New Year. :) Smilex...
